How often have you needed to extract text from your emails, only tofind the simple, menial task to take more time than it should. Clippy works by taking the text that you have copied to the clipboard,sending the text through it`s conversion engine and pushing thereformatted text to the clipboard.
Built-in to Clippy are a number of operations. Each operation performsa single, pre-defined function, such as remove line breaks, remove `>`characters and convert spaces to tabs. You can think of operations asyour basic building blocks.
The power of Clippy comes from the ability to group one or moreoperations together to perform a complete task called a clipper. Whenyou run a clipper, all the operations assigned to it will be perform onthe text in the clipboard, in the order that was specified. They actlike one seamless task.
