GSfx Wizard lets you create your own personalized Self-Extracting Archives (SFX) that feature a Windows 2000 wizard-like interface for easy delivering of your documents, projects, programs, setup systems and other files... A Self-Extracting archive is a single stand-alone executable program (package) that contains compressed files and allows them to be extracted without requiring any external third-party tool.
GSfx Wizard allows you to create powerful and compact archives, as it features a strong file compression (the Cabinet LZX easily beats the standard Zip) and lets you customize any facet of your archives: support for displaying your custom texts and readme (in Rich Text Format), localization (select the appropriate language), user-defined folders, splash pictures, file execution, and much more... Finally easily package your folders and files directly from Windows Explorer thanks to GSfx Wizard`s shell extension. GSfx archives are ideal for distribution of your files over the Internet because they:
have the same features as standard Zip (and of course Cabinet format) archives: they can contain multiple files, store path information (and of course restore the directory structure), keep files information like file dates, attributes...
GSfx archives are fully compatible with all archiving tools that support managing Cabinet archives (.CAB), a standard compression format. You can open GSfx archives in your favorite archiving tool.
