Athene is an object based OS environment (desktop) that runs on a variety of different platforms, such as Windows and Linux. It provides a unique system environment that builds itself at run-time with user-editable XML based scripts. You can create your own OS GUI from scratch or edit any of the four existing GUI`s to suit your own requirements. Applications written in Athene are fully portable, allowing Linux and Windows users to share programs with each other.
